Sitting on the border of Hollywood,  it is never hard to find amazing boutique shops or eclectic food options.  Residents spend their days rummaging through local vintage shops or drinking fair trade coffee in Griffith Park. At night the historic Los Feliz theater is a can’t miss for an amazing time.  Schools in Los Feliz are easily accessible. Part hip makes Los Feliz one of the best neighborhoods in LA to call home.

Restaurants

Little Doms: Located in the heart of Los Feliz, on one of the most pedestrian friendly street, you’ll run into Little Doms. Though complete renovated, Little Dom's feels like it’s been in Los Angeles’ laid back atmosphere forever. Stop in 7 days a week for an Italian-American breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
 
Purans: After being open for 16 years, Purans is still serving heath-focused New American fare. Purans uses solely fresh ingredients and makes everything in , making dietary accommodations a breeze.
 
Yuca’s Hut: After dreams of opening a taco shop to serve only the best mexican cuisine, “Mama” Socorro Herrera succeeded in 1976 and has been going strong ever since. Even after being named on many ‘top restaurant’ lists, Herrera says her greatest accomplishment is hearing her customer’s reaction to the “best burrito [they] ever had!”
 
MessHall Kitchen: This sleek and modern gastropub is serving up American comfort food with an innovative twist. Stop in for brunch, lunch or dinner for daily specials, fresh oysters, or just one of their many innovative cocktails.
 
Trattoria Farfalla: Serving up classic Italian dishes with an organic, local twist, Trattoria Farfalla is flocked to by locals. Their food combined with their great selection of Italian makes Trattoria Farfalla a must-try.

Nightlife

The Dresden: Famous for being featured in many films, including “Swingers”, The Dresden is still the place to see and be seen while enjoying great food at great prices. Stop by for the food or just a drink to listen to some live music.
 
Good Luck Bar: Dim lighting sets the mood at this ornate bar, mainly frequented for its tropical drinks.
 
Tiki Ti: Though it’s small, with only 12 stools and a handful of tables, Tiki Ti packs a punch with its decor and menu size. The Hawaiian decor compliments the 94 tropical drinks offered on the menu.
 
Harvard and Stone: Stop by 7 nights a week to grab a drink at Harvard and Stone, but make sure to check their website for what events you’ll run into, from live music to burlesque nights, Harvard and Stone quite the entertaining crowd.
